As Obama Sinks Below Carter's Polling Left Launches Vicious Attack On Him

Firedoglake, a far left wing "liberal" blog, noted for the vehemence of its support for Obama previously has seen the collective scales drop from the collective eyes of its rabid commentators regarding its erstwhile hero.

Whether this venom actually holds for election day 2012 and they do as they threaten-to hiss and boo the president and then  not vote for him or remains to be seen. But if the depth of the outright scorn, usually only seen when a Republican of any stripe is mentioned, the exhibit is any indication the Obama is in some serious difficulty.

It is impossible to feel any sympathy for people who have be so deluded as to have swallowed hook line and sinker the "hope and change" nonsense that was purveyed by a totally inexperienced huckster. They deliberately, after years of Bush hatred, were so determined to support Obama, led on by a vicious liberal media, that all his obvious faults went unnoticed.

Let them wallow in their new found ire, it is so noticeable that they blame Obama and not themselves when both are clearly at fault-cupidity meets naivety.

Here is just a small sample of buyers (or rather suckers) remorse from people who went overboard in their attacks on Palin in aid of supporting their idol with its feet of clay. Serves them right. You can read even more of their wailing and gnashing of teeth at
the main site.

WTF???
83% Approval from “liberal Democrats”?????
Those folks are neither liberal, nor Democrats, if you approve of “prolonged” detention, assassination, even torture of American citizens. AMERICAN CITIZENS. When the fuck did LIBERALS start approving of THAT???
And not ONE OF THOSE can be blamed AT ALL on Republicans. EVERY ONE of those policies are brought to you by, and approved by OBAMA.
And I didn’t even mention starting wars without Congress’ approval. Liberals support that??? Democrats approve of that????
Fuck it, this fucking country DESERVES the fascism it’s going to get if you can’t look past red team blue team and just blindly support your team no matter what.

“Vote for Obama: He’s Marginally Less Disgusting Than the Other Guy”
Ahh, nothing like a stirring slogan to get me to the polls.
newcarguy November 29th, 2011 at 1:44 pm
I hear the “We Suck Less” bumper stickets are already printed. I just don’t know if THAT is a winning strategy. Convincing people that Obama is “really doing a good job” is gonna be a hard sell. “Good job……compared to what???
tremoluxman November 29th, 2011 at 1:46 pm
I guess that’s to be expected when you sell out your supporters and it becomes glaring clear where your true allegiance lies.

Hence the reason why Obamney will bomb Iran just before November 2012.

Even Andrew Sullivan Getting Behind (Ouch) Gingrich?

Late to the party and master of the bleeding obvious even Andrew Sullivan has seen what blind jack saw recently (and I predicted months ago when Newt was written off by all) that Romney is done, Cain is done, Perry is done and Newt has won.

He can't resist, a Palin uterus diviner/hater to the bitter end, a dig at Sarah though-utterly pathetic.

How is it the likes of Sulllivan, who is wrong get paid for writing rubbish yet I ,who consistently get it right slog away for nothing-hit the tip jar please otherwise this blog will have to go to a pay per view system.

GOP Nomination Over.Time To Rally Round Gingrich. Open Letter To Robert Stacy McCain

The Republican nomination campaign is effectively over (this from the site that was the only one to predict Gingrich's rise when all  had written him off). The latest round of polls clearly show Gingrich is more than the front runner, he is the candidate.

From PPP Polling (D)
Gingrich still rising

Last night we went into the field in Florida and Montana- we'll have the results of those polls out tomorrow after another night of calls but the early indications are that Newt Gingrich will have a double digit lead in both states- he has not peaked yet and is still on an upward curve.
If Herman Cain really ends up dropping out of the race Gingrich's surge should continue in the next few weeks, unless/until something starts happening to erode his popularity. Why? Because Cain's supporters absolutely love Gingrich. And they absolutely hate Mitt Romney.

The most striking poll result is Gingrich being only ten points behind Romney is his redoubt of New Hampshire. The newspaper endorsement Newt received will, as it trickles through the hamlets, close the gap further and, as his lead is insurmountable everywhere else he will get even closer, if not actually taking the lead.

ATLANTA — Newt Gingrich has taken a commanding lead in the South Carolina Republican primary, with more than twice the support of Mitt Romney or Herman Cain, according to a poll conducted Monday evening for The Augusta Chronicle.

Gingrich, a former congressman from Georgia, has 38 percent, followed by 15 percent for Romney, the former governor of Massachusetts. Cain, a Georgia native, had 13 percent.

Newt will win Iowa and the result from South Carolina shows the deal is done. If there was any doubt Newt's Florida/Montana polling  shows no one else has a chance at the nomination now.

It is obvious to all that the rank and file do not want Romney to be the nominee. His campaign of waiting for the front runners to fall over one by one has hit the brick wall that is Gingrich's ascendancy as only Newt, of all the other candidates, had the experience, unlike Perry, which withstood the debates/media scrutiny.

But don't just take my word for it-follow the money. here's what Intrade,where people put up real money on the outcome, reports today;

Former Massachusetts Gov. Mitt Romney has fallen below 50 percent on InTrade for the first time since the beginning of October, as former Speaker of the House Newt Gingrich has seen his fortunes on the prediction market rise.

A trade at 7:28 this morning valued Romney as having just a 49.3 percent chance to win the GOP nomination. He peaked at over a 70 percent chance at the beginning of November, amid Herman Cain's collapse in the polls.
Many believe Romney to be the inevitable choice for Republicans, who have been unable to front a more conservative candidate with staying power.
But Gingrich, the latest to rise to the front of the pack, appears to be showing resilience amid scrutiny over his positions on illegal immigration.

If  the Romney team thinks that Gingrich will collapse like Cain due to "personal baggage" they will be disappointed. Gingrich's marital history is an open book so there is no "scnadal' to emerge. Further his conversion to Catholicism and the ensuing absolution, basically gives him a clear slate. That the conservative element in the GOP sees this (whilst the MSM is blind to the obvious) makes it clear that it is not an issue for them.

The rest of the candidates, especially the bottom tier-the Santorum's and Bachmann's should now end their hopeless quests, Cain should retire to keep his dignity and gain, if he wishes, an administration post.

If Romney chooses to battle on he should be aware that if Palin endorses Gingrich, as seems probable, at that point it is well and truly over. He would be betters served to pull out whilst in a favorable position to get an administration position or be in a position to run in 2016 if Gingrich did not beat Obama.

The Republican nomination campaign effectively ended today. Now is the time to give Newt an unimpeded run to the nomination so he can fully concentrate on the Obama administration with the support of the entire GOP team.

To ensure his victory in 2012 he should choose, if she wishes it Palin as his VP-if not then McDonnell of Virginia (the untried/unvetted Rubio is not needed as Florida is in the bag) whilst offering Palin the post of Secretary of the Interior.

This post is in the nature of an open letter to the genius that is Robert Stacy McCain of the influential "The Other McCain" site. All the fine qualities that you saw in Cain were a more than valid reason to so strongly support him. However, and fairly or unfairly the system, and it appears the rank and file ,whilst recognizing as you do his humanity, do not appear to see him as a viable candidate. You have so many strengths to offer in support of  a winner for the GOP and I commend the reality, as I see it, that Gingrich is now the only viable alternative to Romney/Obama.

With Cain Finished Only Gingrich/Palin Stand Between Romney & RINO Defeat

With Mr. Cain's latest revelations and Perry clearly unfit as the GOP candidate only one person stands between Romney, the nomination and another Dole RINO type defeat.

I fully support Newt and look to Sarah Palin to do so, hopefully with an endorsement. If however Newt too is brought down by the MSM then only one person can save the GOP

At Bloomberg;"Voters Warming To Gingrich Because He's Right"

Amity Shlaes has an outstanding analysis about the rise of Newt Gingrich and the respect for intellectualism at Bloomberg. Free from snark, distortion and mentioning the tired old "baggage" clichés'-I can't recommend it highly enough.

Here is just one extract but please do read the whole article AT THIS LINK

"But Gingrich does project a terrifying authority of policy knowledge. Voters have been warming to Gingrich because he’s right -- about the budget, about Social Security reform, about plenty of other substantive themes he’s elaborated on since the debates began.
Gingrich’s responses are filled with fresh ideas and concrete examples. In a recent debate in Texas, Gingrich and Cain each showed some fluency in talking about Medicare. But when Cain was asked whether he preferred a defined-benefit plan or premium supports for Medicare, he smiled and passed the ball. Gingrich clarified what a defined benefit was -- a mandate for government to pay for health care -- and then highlighted the kind of triage that happens when government gets involved in the medical system, focusing on the danger that those with aggressive prostate cancers would be fatally undertreated."

Andrew Sullivan Pines For Huntsman-Should Join Frum/Gary Johnson At Exit Door

Palin uterus diviner Andrew Sullivan scratches his head over the inexorable rise of Newt Gingrich-it is no mystery, as this blog was the first to explain to the can't see the wood for the trees punditry-Sullivan being very late to the party.

Not that the rank and file have any sensible reason for supporting Gingrich's rise from the elite point of view.Sullivan sees a Gingrich candidacy as the self immolation of the "Jacobin" element in the GOP and sees a positive result with Huntsman rising up phoenix like to restore a Sullivan type sanity-God help us.

"The silver lining is surely that a Gingrich candidacy would put out there in clear and uncompromising terms the reality of today's Jacobin GOP. If a Gingrich candidacy were to give us an Obama landslide re-election, it would underline the death-throes of a "conservatism" reeling since the collapse of the Rove project under Bush and Cheney. It would kill off conservatism as it has been and allow for some kind of reformist brand to put down roots. It would give us Huntsman in 2016, or some variant thereof."

The elitists, oh how Sullivan turned up his nose at the very thought of Palin to the point where he indulged  in the weirdest conspiracy theories relating to her son, always turn their collective noses up at the hoi polloi and castigate them for having an opinion different from theirs. Sullivan's best course would be to join fellow elitist David Frum and odd bod Gary Johnson and leave the GOP or the periphery of it and worship at the feet of Obama who is so much more smooth and suave and doing a really really great job.

Perhaps 2% of republicans want Huntsman to be the candidate which shows just how out of touch Sullivan and his ilk are. If, heaven forbid Huntsman actually became the leader of the Republicans nothing would be more certain than that would cause the death throes of the party as the base splits off into a genuine conservative party freed from the arrogance of the beltway commentariat who can be as moderate as they like all day long whilst supported a remnant of a "moderate' party.

Famous Bloggers Who Will Write In Palin

These famous/influential bloggers (linked at their names) are people of  character. They apparently believe in Sarah Palin as a person and her message.

I would consider they believe she is a person of truth. She would put into practice the plans that she states, and would be a unifier, healer, respector of life and a true conservative in the best definition of that word.

Some will vote for her in a primary, and some will vote for her in both the primary and the general election regardless of who the Republican candidate is. That there is such support for Palin at this late stage in the campaign speaks volumes about her qualities and, perhaps more importantly, about the road ahead for her to either 2012, if the convention is deadlocked or 2016.

I will write in Palin in the primary if Gingrich is not the frontrunner, i.e. has been brought down by the media/Beltway, and in the general election if he is not the candidate.

There are of course many more people of note, (as well as uncountable rank and file folks) who will also vote for Sarah in either a primary or general election. If you are aware of them and have a link please indicate it in the comments section and I will keep updating this post.

Palin To Head Major Commission Under President Gingrich After Endorsement Brings His Nomination?

The media conversation moves from along from "What value would a Palin endorsement bring"?  Then to "Palin looks likely to endorse Newt Gingrich." And now  to "What would be the result for Gingrich from a Palin endorsement"?

I made it clear that I would support Gingrich ( long before his recent ascendancy) now that Palin is not running and looked to her endorsement of him with much hope.

I have written that a Gingrich/Palin team would have an outstanding chance of defeating President Obama. It would bring a balanced ticket, shore up the conservative base, many of whom will sit on their hands if Romney is the nominee, and would bring a world of experience to the campaign and to the two offices.

It is unimaginable that Gingrich would not do better in the debates with Obama than McCain did, and Palin would, once again, easily handle Biden in a debate. Both have been vetted so that nonsense would not interfere with getting the campaign's message out.

However, Gingrich may wish to have a different VP-as is his right of course and Palin may choose not to run.

It would seem unimaginable, if not downright churlish that Gingrich would not offer Palin some post, if indeed her endorsement gave him the winning impetus, as commentators believe would be the case.

To me, a cabinet post like Secretary of the interior would be perfect for Palin. Nobody could object to it on the grounds that she lacked experience in energy development, and such a post, as well as being an asset to the Gingrich administration, and the country, would have benefits for Palin.

Being in the cabinet would give Palin substantial Washington experience, a plus for her CV, and impetus for a presidential run after Gingrich's second term. By that time Palin would be installed in the national consciousness as a person of experience, gravitas and accomplishment.

A reader of this blog had another idea of what role Palin might play in a Gingrich administration. The concept is clever, well thought out, and has a lot to offer. I reproduce it here so it can receive the wider audience it deserves.

"More likely I could see him offering her some important comissions to chair along the lines of Reagan's Grace Commission that targeted govt waste and spending or the Simpson/Bowles Commission.

One could focus on energy development/independence.  One could focus on crony capitalism/corruption in Congress by both parties along the lines of Schweizer's recent book.  I'm sure others would have ideas.

Newt could appoint her to these posts by executive order, and wouldn't need to worry about Senate confirmation.  He could even find some Dem to be co-chair to balance things out if need be.

These could be substantive positions but wouldn't tie her down like a cabinet post would (and would do away with the circus, and FBI checks/disclosures a senate confirmation would provide).

It would allow her to focus on specific issues.  I think it could help her rehabilitate her image if she is seen as working on real issues, and making a difference, doing serious things.  Truman's work on the WW2 arms commission really helped him.  This could do the same for her.

It wouldn't have to be announced ahead of time, but would be understood as part of the endorsement.  I'm sure there are plenty of possibilities.  Or...maybe she has no interest and would rather hang out with Todd and the kids and the family and enjoy the money and let everyone else worry about the swamp that is DC.  That's fine, too."

An Early Xmas.Gary Johnson/David Frum To "Leave" GOP? Good Riddance

I put "leave" in the blog title in quotation marks because there is considerable doubt whether these to gentlemen were ever in the Republican party. Certainly they are, clearly, RINO's of the highest order.

Gary Johnson's quixotic tilt at the presidential nomination is, by his own seeming admission, over-if it ever began of course. As a younger version of libertarian Ron Paul, drug use approval and all, Johnson is throwing his toys out of the cradle, now that even he can see he has no chance.

Of course it is not his fault-the GOP has apparently abandoned him- at this link

"I feel abandoned by the Republican Party," Johnson said in a phone interview. "The Republican Party has left me by the wayside."

and what naturally follows this "abandonment" is;

"But in an interview Wednesday, he said he's seriously considering running for the Libertarian Party nomination for president."

Thus on to RINO #2. David Frum.

If the GOP doesn't nominate RINO's 3# and #4 Romney or Huntsman Frum will also throw his toys out of the bassinet according to Hot Air at this link;

"I might have to leave the party if it nominates someone other than Romney or Huntsman"

For those interested in the opinion's of possibly soon to be ex-GOP members who never were, in the first place, Frum is linked here

It is one thing to sit on ones hands, or write in a candidate other than the one the party nominates, after all this is a democracy and we are not robots. But it is quite something else to advise that if you don't get the position you want, or that if the party nominates someone you don't like, you will leave it. Whatever happened to working within the big tent?

The Libertarians are welcome to Johnson-what will he do if they also abandon him and he doesn't get their nomination by the way? Whichever party Frum looks at joining, if he leaves (please do) is most welcome to him, and what a surprise it will be if he votes for Obama (not).

Good riddance to bad rubbish.
****************************************
N.B. Someone has commented on my remark about the March of the Rino's.

"the march music is Bolero"

Which is good thinking but to my mind too slow. The appropriate music for the march of the RINO's would be "Yakkity Sax" to the Benny Hill imagery.

More Shocking Exploitative? Images Of Big Breasted/Bottomed Women From "The Other McCain Site"

In my original and follow up posts (presented below in all their shocking  imagery)I discussed that this famous website, Linked at
"The Other McCain" appears to be running advertisements for "Kyle Leon's Customized Fat Loss" using "come on in" images of large breasted women to possibly entice male readers to click on the sites link.

After thousands of readers of this investigative site looked at these pictures and went to "The Other McCain's" site to see the shocking facts for themselves, many commented here that they appreciated my bringing this to their attention and would examine the photo's minutely to judge for themselves whether this was indeed a case of exploitation or honest marketing.

It may be hard to believe but The other McCain site has new, even more shocking pictures promoting "Kyle Leon's Customized fat Loss" including, for the first time PICTURES OF WOMEN'S BOTTOMS! I appreciate what I am to show may offend some sensitive souls but true media investigation has to proceed. Again, judge for yourself-exploitation or harmless advertising?

**************************************************
ORIGINAL SHOCKING POST REPRESENTED BELOW
**************************************************

UPDATE' 4th "Big Breasted Women" Photo discovered at The Other McCain" site-is this one also wholesome? You be the judge.

UPDATE#2. 6th photo now discovered-will it never end? Judge these two new ones for yourself.

The well known site "The Other McCain"  run by the ineffable Stacy McCain, has been running a series of advertisements for "Kyle Leon's Customized Fat Loss". The site portal has a series of three (that I have seen there may have been more of these) pictures of young women with enormous breasts.

I presume this is to pique the interest of, especially, males to see exactly how these women became so endowed, and if such a transformation is available for the partners of those making further enquires by clicking on the link. On the other hand there may be a degree of salacious interest.

To determine if everything was as it should be, I decided to do a thorough investigation of these women. Unfortunately they do not appear all at once, so I had to repeatedly refresh the page. When doing this a different large busted woman appeared each time, and I was able to example the photographs minutely.

I am glad to report that upon a detailed investigation I determined that they, the images, were a wholesome introduction to the benefits of fat loss, and commend all readers to examine these pictures. themselves.

Here are three examples but by all means go to the original site and click on each multiple times.

Here is the 4th-6th photographs-upon close inspection they too passes the honest introduction to fat reduction test.

The Real Grifters Were Palin's Media Critics Who Are Now "Irrelevant"

The bloodsuckers, the cynics who tossed there often mad, bad or certifiable followers deliberate red meat like crazy "Trig Truther" Palin faked her pregnancy" stories are, at last fading in to irrelevance. They, the ones who made money off their anti-Palin screeds were the true "grifters"

Whilst Palin, the one they advise is irrelevant, has 3.5 million Facebook followers, and drew the biggest fundraising crowd the Florida GOP has ever had recently. She has her articles published in the WSJ, and is courted by prospective presidential candidates for her endorsement. Meanwhile her critics disappear into, variously the rocks they crawled out from under, or total obscurity.

"Just a girl from Homer" is now just that after making a name for herself in leftist circles as a harpy harping critic of Palin whose sole claim to fame was she was an Alaskan.

The disgusting "Gryphen" from Immoral Minority blog continues to toss his mad readers insane conspiracy theories about Palin's child to being hers but nobody, outside the certifiable, cares. he has admitted he is just a shill for Obama now and clearly all his anti-Palin riff was was just a front for the Dem's at the lowest, vilest level.

Huffington Post with their Big News Palin" sites-they have three, struggle to find any red meat to toss to their juvenile readers and commentators. It is all so shabby and tawdry and it is clear that Palin has outlasted her detractors. The last sad bunch gibber and mutter "quitter, half-term governor, irrelevant" whilst their phobias and fantasies give their sad lives some hate filled meaning.

One day a political scientist or possibly a psychiatrist will do a report, or clinical paper on the Palin Derangement Syndrome madness which afflicted so many in America. Seemingly intelligent people, like Andrew Sullivan with his Trig nonsense (and who reads Sullivan now that he doesn't have Palin to kick  around anymore?) lost their marbles, deranged people were given a forum, cynics used these people for page views and to achieve notoriety.

Some are beyond self-awareness that they are off in another dimension, the Malia Littman's and "Peril's of Palins" bloggers who are more to be pitied than criticized. Their time has gone or is fading fast whilst Palin lives a life of fame, adulation, success and has a future should she so choose- just who is irrelevant- Palin or her critics?

Palin's Endorsement"difference between getting to accept the nomination at next year's convention or just being third from the right on the stage"

Summoning Palin's Endorsement

SATURDAY, NOVEMBER 26, 2011

As the GOP presidential candidates face ebbs and flows in their campaigns, there is no wonder Governor Palin's endorsement has been sought-after. Real Clear Politics has speculated where the Governor may place her support, but that remains to be seen. What is already quite clear is the candidates know the power the Governor holds. As the 2010 mid-terms elections revealed, her stamp of approval is able to positively influence a campaign, sparking both boots-on-the-ground support and finances. No doubt this is why immediately after announcing her decision not to seek the 2012 GOP nomination, a Palin endorsement was vehemently summoned.

Whomever she chooses to endorse for 2012, if anyone at all, will have a huge base of support from which to draw. While it is not likely that each of Governor Palin's supporters will back the person she backs, many of them are, in fact, waiting for her to say the word. They will then lend their support to that individual, for they believe her choice will be the most common sense choice for defeating President Obama, someone most in line with her values--values they share.

Mark Whittington writes:
The most sought-after endorsement of this political cycle will be from a woman who holds no political office and is not currently seeking one. That is why each of the Republican candidates have done the equivalent of kissing Sarah Palin's ring.

So how, according to Whittington, will the Governor reach such an important decision?
The criteria Palin will use to determine who to endorse will be who will be best for the country, in her judgment, and only secondarily who will be best for her own political fortunes. Palin has some definite ideas about how the United States should be governed, particularly in the suppression of honest graft in the congress and crony capitalism. Whomever is best suited to advance her agenda will get her endorsement.

And just what would a Governor Palin endorsement accomplish?
Palin's endorsement would take a struggling campaign and take it to the top tier. It would take a surging campaign and send it over the top. It could be the difference between getting to accept the nomination at next year's convention or just being third from the right on the stage during the unity demonstration.

Point Of View Fundraiser

It’s been a really long time (almost two years, I think) since I’ve done this.

A number of readers have been very generous over the years both in making one time donations and monthly subscriptions (starting at $5 per month) [Some people have had trouble with these links, if so, use the Donate buttons in the sidebar.].  (Note, donations are NOT tax deductible.)

If folks wish this blog to be more full time then the (financial) golden rule applies. If not then it will continue to be sporadic as it has been since Palin decided not to run, and with diversions into cute animals and page three girls (to keep The Other McCain interested). Or it, sadly, might end.

Either way is fine with me but hopefully my point of view has enough insight to warrant a broader range of topics and thus appeal to a broader range of people. Coming up to 150,000 page views indicates, I trust there is a market for what is presented here and, given the crucial year ahead, we all can create together what the masthead says.

Your donation means that together we'll build a strong authentic conservative voice."

HYDE PARK (CBS) — Low-income residents and seniors are lining up for free turkey dinners from a local car company.
As many as 10,000 people are expected to show up for the “23rd Annual Jackson Limousine Service Turkey Dinner Give-Away”, which started at 8 a.m. Tuesday.
Sky2 was overhead Monday night as a line wrapped around the company’s service fleet yard at 3669 West Slauson Ave.
Yvette Freeman, one of the first people to pick up a meal Tuesday morning, waited in line for two days with a group of family and friends.
“It feels good. It feels really good,” says Freeman, who realized she couldn’t afford her own Thanksgiving dinner when she went to the grocery store last weekend.
“It’s a lot of people, a lot of families from all walks of life,” EJ Jackson, founder and president of Jackson Limousine, told CBS2. “You’ll see them. We love them, but that’s what we are here for; to help one another.”
Turkey and all the dinner fixings, including cornbread, yams and cranberry sauce, are being given out on a first-come, first-served basis.
“It is tough ’cause I was in need,” Lashonda Howard said. “I gotta get down here because this is my only hope.”
