The Right's Criticism Of Palin Is......Right

For perhaps the first time, at least to an extent that it is visible, there has been criticism of Sarah Palin from the right. This has been focussed on her announcement that she was going to campaign for Senator McCain's re-election and also her decision to be the headline speaker at the forthcoming Tea Party convention (and subsequently her decision to still speak there given the apparent internal difficulties that event is experiencing).

There has been criticism of Palin to a degree in the past but this has centered on her decision to resign as Governor, her difficulties with her daughter's ex-boyfriend and even her Thanksgiving turkey pardon speech.
All these relate to matters of style, family, and life decisions and are not externally, anything but overtly personal.

The recent criticism is,for the first time, directly related to external political matters where a major poltiical stance has been taken. As with all such matters any decision will be found faulty with some and those who have found fault have expressed their displeasure-although I note that for the most part the criticism, no matter how strident,  has not lead to a complete break.Rather, the expressions run from disappointment to sadness but rarely to anger.

This is all to the good. The very worst thing for both Palin and her supporters would be for her to be viewed as "she who can do no wrong".The end result of this sort of mindless adulation would be the eventual crashing disappointment that the followers of the cult of Obama are experiencing as their idols feet of clay are exposed to them.

Make no mistake about it, as the 2010 elections draw nearer, and following them the primaries for the 2012 election, major decisions will have to be made and some of her supporters will be upset by them. It is only by frank discussion, interaction by Palin with her supporters as to the reason for her decisions, that misunderstandings will be avoided and the mass of her support is able to work within the upcoming new framework which will be the Sarah Palin campaign.

Constructive criticism, request for explanations must and should be the order of the day from a new "Big Tent" of Palin supporters able to understand the opinions of, and dialogue with, those who take a more "conservative" conservative view and those of a more liberal strain. It should not be a headline topic in the Palin blogosphere that one group or another is criticizing some Palin decision-but most certainly a topic of conversation, interaction and support.

I certainly don't agree with those on the right who are negatively vocal about Palin's support of McCain's upcoming campaign but I welcome their opinions as I welcome their ongoing support of Sarah over the long term and ask them to view my opinions constructively. There is too much at stake for Palin supporters to undertake destructive actions against each other, conversely there is too much at stake not to view Palin in a realistic light as someone who will, in one person or anothers mind, make a decision they don't agree with.
"My candidate right or wrong but still my candidate" is a the healthy and rewarding attitude.

A "Scozzafava" question for Crist and Kay Bailey Hutchison UPDATE;DAILY KOS CALLS FOR CRIST TO SWITCH TO DEM'S

In fact it is the one that should have been asked of Dede Scozzafava in New York before she got the Republican nomination or early on in her campaign.

"Governor/Senator, if you should not get the nomination you are currently seeking do you pledge not to run as an Independent or to switch to the Democratic party or endorse the Democrat ? "

There should be no reason why they should avoid answering this question which will assist settling the voters minds as to the candidates intentions so the voters can make an educated choice in the upcoming primary .
-------------------------
From the left wing radical blog "Daily Kos" today

"There is a way for Crist to avoid all this heartache, of course. Switch parties. He's dead as a Republican. Florida is too expensive for a serious independent run. Become a Democrat, and he has a fighting chance of ever serving in the Senate."

The question remains to be asked/answered   "Governor Crist will you pledge not to leave the Republican Party should you not get the nomination you seek? "

PPP Polling Anti-Palin bias blows perfect Brown win prediction.

Kudos for Tom Jensen at PPP Polling for picking the result of the Massachusetts election spot on.It is worth noting too that his and others method of robo-polling has laid to rest any qualms about the accuracy of such polling mechanisms.

What is sad however is his jaunt into political commentary-which as a Democratic party leaning site does nothing for establishing PPP's credibility as a mature, unbiased organization.Certainly Gallup comments on their polling but it is an Olympian manner and it would be generally recognized their comments are not skewed to one party of the other.

Thus it is unfortunate they state that, in their latest polling analysis of who they perceive the G.O.P. contenders for 2012 are  "Voters don't really like Sarah Palin any more than they did ten months ago". They base this on their polling results which showed Palin's favorables/unfavorables in March at 39/50 and now at 42/51.

This is an increase of favorables of 3 points and of unfavorables of 1 point-how a reputable pollster can conclude that there is thus no favorable movement can only be put down to partisan bias ( and sadly, to PDS which clearly affects even those at the polling firm level). Showing even more skewed bias he advises that Mike Huckabee has the best rating having gone from 36/37 in November to 35/29 now.Certainly a drop in unfavorables but also a one point loss in favorables which puts him 7 behind Palin.

PPP should leave the liberal talking points to Nate Silver and concentrate on what they do best which is, so far, producing first rate polling.

The Dem's Have Reached Critical Mass

It is my blog so I am allowed to post a pun. This one came to me in my sleep and as with such things seemed immortal. However I think even in the cold light of day it holds up pretty well.

On reflection it is rather sad that a time usually meant for Freudian thoughts has turned to political ones (perhaps this is Jungian-universal consciousness ?) but the overwhelming joy at yesterday's result in Mass has clearly topped all other nighttime considerations.

It's All The Fault Of Corzine/Deeds And Now Coakley- Revisited (With Delight And Irony)

I wrote the article below on the 9th-I don't hold out much for being prescient as by that time the tide was clearly starting to go against Coakley. The premise still holds though-even though Coakley ran an abysmal campaign she would have won Massachusetts under any circumstances barring the one which made her lose-being tied to the yoke of the Obama administration. And what irony-that Ted Kennedy had the rules changed to allow for a special election which will now possibly totally derail the health bill on top of which it has deliverd Obama his third major electoral defeat in a row !

The title bar isn't big enough to include the 40+ or so names from the House and half a dozen+ from the Senate who will join the list of candidates who will all have run "terrible campaigns" this November.Certainly the radical left will not lay the blame at the feet of clay ( if an empty suit can have feet of clay) where it belongs. However, all to the good-their recipe for success for their agenda, apart from the new "aggressive Obama we have been cautioned will now emerge,  is to have "true progressive candidates"  instead of the wishy washy "lazy and dull" ones who went down to defeat because they all ran poor campaigns-every single one of them.

I hope they get their wish and primary all their remaining seats in 2012 with "true progressives".

ORIGINAL ARTICLE JANUARY 9TH

They just don't get it-or are in deep denial. The radical lefties, especially over at Kos, blamed Corzine in New Jersey and Deeds in Virginia for the loss of the governorships in those states. Apparently these losses, by a massive margin in Virginia, a state Obama carried by a significant margin, and in New Jersey, usually a solid blue state, had nothing to do with the Obama administration. No, they were attributable solely to the "poor" (and that is a euphemism for a number of words which I won't print) campaigns run by "terrible, useless candidates".

That the lib blogosphere was quite happy to have Deeds as their candidate when he beat off the competition (especially the Hillary supporter) in the primary is noted however.

With the latest poll from PPP showing the Republican candidate Scott Brown actually in the lead in the bluest of blue states Massachusetts, the Kossites and their ilks' heads are exploding. Everyone, except Obama and his administration is to blame but, as expected, the number one person at fault is, once again, the hopeless and hapless candidate-this time Martha Coakley. If you can bear it and have an ironic sense of humor, view the comments section at the link.

For your delectation here is just one of many posted at Taegan Goddard's site "Really, Coakley. XXXX you for being complacent, lazy and dull. This is what happens when you rest on your laurels and forget you're in a friggin Senate campaign until the week before the election. Honestly, as a loyal Massachusetts liberal, I'll vote for the Democrat... I just wish it didn't have to be this one."

Again, she was perfectly acceptable when she got the nomination but is now aloof and useless and running a poor campaign and etc.The fact that Independent voters in the PPP poll are supporting Scott Brown by an incredible 70/16 margin appears to be not worthy of consideration as to why that might be.

One would hope,in the interest of having a real dialogue with the oppostion that they will wake up and examine the root cause of their run of defeats (even in Brown loses by a much lower margin than the one Obama carried Massachusetts by (26) that would be a defeat of sorts-or at least a kick in the pants for the Dem's). On the other hand it is an enjoyable spectacle watching the left, who have had a long run of victories, not comprehending what is happening to them as they experience defeat for the first time in many instances

Dem's Shoot Themselves In The Foot with Palin Obsession

I really shouldn't write this which, under normal circumstances, would assist the Democratic party to right their sinking ship. However, such is their blind obsession with Sarah Palin that even the clearly obvious won't make them desist from their mad course. I am writing though in the, no doubt forlorn, hope that at least a few sufferers of Palin Derangement Syndrome (PDS) will move on to rationality so we can start to commence a rational public discourse and Palin can get at least a chance of breathing none fetid air.

The basic facts are that the left has spent incalculable amounts of energy, money, and most of all time railing (and that is not too harsh a word) against someone who is not a candidate for anything, resigned from, and now holds, no elective office-in fact may never hold any, has "unfavorables" which have ranged above 50% for an extended period and if she were to become the Republican nominee years from  now would be one that the left constantly prays for as an easy beat in their eyes.

If even half of this prodigious expenditure of time and resources had been spent supporting President Obama and his program, and working on behalf of Democratic candidates in the various elections over the past year we might be looking at a very different political landscape-certainly it couldn't be any worse for them.

But they just can't help themselves-it really is unprecedented. Sarah Palin is doing the Republican party a tremendous service just by existing. Her enemies have lost all rationality-it is like a mongoose and a cobra.

On the MSNBC list of clips from various shows there were 3028 views of a Keith Olberman discourse on the Massachusetts election and 28300 views of a discussion panel clip on the deep subject of  "How can Palin be a pundit when she doesn't know anything? " The same applies on the radical left website Daily Kos where a Palin discussion topic will run into the hundreds of comments An occasional person will post "why are we even discussing this person" and then they continue to rail on in the most juvenile manner.

There would be little doubt that part of the reason for the decline of the liberal left is their being exposed, by the sheer volume of their bile, spite, irrationality and, sad to say in the case of many leftist women, sheer cattiness to Palin. They are un-liberal in the classic sense of the word rather, the left has been exposed as elitist.

Obama's "hidden" speech in San Francisco (the perfect place for such thoughts) where he categorized the common person as "clinging to their guns and their religion" should have been the telling blow against his campaign .Only now, a year into his Presidency, can everyone see that this elitism, and the concomitant put down of the great mass of humble Americans by the "we know best" left, is the true face of modern liberalism.

The people are saying loud and clear what they think of this administration and the liberal media at the ballot box and town hall meetings and come next November will say so nationwide.Sarah Palin deserves all the financial success that has come her way and any political success she so chooses to seek for having, singlehandedly, born the brunt of the lefts bile. She is still standing, is tempered and gaining in authority and public respect whilst her attackers wallow in the mud of their own creation not noticing they are sinking-in fact, like pigs, enjoy the very wallow that is pulling them under-more fools they.

Now it's O.K. for a President To Campaign During An Humanitarian Crisis??

President Obama has announced he will go to Massachusetts to campaign for beleaguered Democrat Martha Coakley this Sunday.

As always, one rule for the Dem's and one for the Republicans. Imagine if this was in the early stages of the Katrina crisis and President Bush had taken a day off to campaign for one of the Republican candidates when the world was seeing images, just like in Haiti, of death and destruction.

The liberal media and MSM beltway commentators would be foaming at the mouth declaring dereliction of duty, inhumanity and so forth. But Obama-in exactly the same sort of situation humanitarian wise-if not worse given the loss of life-can swan off to Boston. There will be an electoral price to pay for this hypocrisy and disdain of the American people-there is a tidal wave building which commenced in New Jersey and Virginia which will crest in November.

"White Alaska" Another Anti-Palin Myth Destroyed

From Letterman's  latest Anti-Palin "Top 10" list  (about her debut as a Fox Commentator)  "Actually found a place with more White people than Alaska".

This fits in with the latest in a long stream of attempts by the left to tar Palin with something-anything-which will create a negative meme. They've tried all and sundry to no lasting effect but the latest is the most dangerous and vicious and has to be stopped in its tracks.

"Palin is a racist"  is the theme.  The liberal left  MSM can't come out and say it directly, there is a problem for them of course with the fact that she is married to a part Native American and there has never been the slightest hint of racism in anything she has said or done. But of course they won't let that stop them. MSNBC, Letterman and others keep at the "White Teabag audience, "no Black people visible at the Republican convention", "an all white crowd at her book signings" and etc.

The implication is, at the very least that Palin's appeal is only to White people. The implication is, at a deeper level, that that her supporters must be racist. The Goebbel's tried and true method is to repeat a lie over and over and if repeated often enough it will stick. Palin said in her interview with Bill O'Reilly, touching on racism, (the Reid controversy) that Alaska was a diverse state ethnically and there was no place for racism in any discourse. This was derided by the radical left "Wassila is as White as you can get" (as if Wassila was all of Alaska). Well lets knock this rubbish on the head and look at the indisputable facts.

The U.S. Census Bureau American Fact Finder Census 2000 shows the following:

The most White state in America is in fact Maine 96.9% of the population are White. Blacks comprise 0.5% (6,760) Asians 0.7%  (9,111), Native Americans 0.6%  (7068)

Vermont is the second  most White state in America 96.8% White. Blacks comprise 0.5%, (3063) Hispanics 0.9% (5504) Native Americans 0.4% (2420). Vermont of course has the only Socialist Senator in America.

And now Alaska, this supposed last refuge of the White race. White's are nearly a third less than found in Maine at 69.3%, Native Americans at 15.6% are substantially higher in percentage and Blacks at 3.5% make the New England states look positively segregated. Hispanics at 4.1% add strikingly to Alaska's ethnic diversity compared to the supposed liberal states.

Once again straight talking Palin has shown to be correct and her detractors not only wrong but guilty of playing the race card-they should be ashamed. Hopefully this will put an end to this sorry episode.

More Anti-Palin Biased Rubbish From Mark Halperin

Palin, after all, was a bet that didn't pay off — and probably backfired — for the Arizona Republican. So say Mark Halperin in another Time/CNN hit piece on Sarah Palin.

In a supposed review of Plain's initial appearance on Fox as a commentator Halperin spends most of the article pimping his book "Game Change "after allowing an opening paragraph of grudging non-criticism.Fear not ,the usual PDS comments flow out-they are so boring now-as the article moves on.

The extent of which these liberal commentators are happy to make a buck out of deriding Palin so blinds them to the contradictions in what they say and report that it is bordering on the ludicrous. The "bet that didn't pay off" comment is a classic example. Even Steve Schmidt had to admit that without Palin on the ticket they would have done "even worse" (for example commentators conclude that Palin "dragged McCain over the line in Missouri"). These PDS folk ( to call them journalists would be an insult to the profession) should take a deep breath before they make such poorly thought out statements.

Interestingly one gets the impression that the radical left is disappointed with Palin's first two interviews in her new role on Fox. "boringly predictable" has become the mantra-they were of course looking for "dumb" Palin gaffes or radical statements when what they got was, sadly for them. a measured intelligent cogent presentation.

If Romney Is The Nominee Then Palin is The Write In

I have been dwelling on Mitt Romney's interview with Greta 's "On The Record" (January 8th) and what it would mean if he became the 2012 candidate.

The general consensus on Race42008 (now updated to  race42012) was that he came across well and the Romney supporting sites thought that he was "on fire". It was that comment which led me to view the clip on Race42008 because I was interested to see if  there had been a change in what I recalled was his image from the 2008 primary campaign. There wasn't.

In 2008 Romney came across to me as intelligent, earnest and likeable. What I didn't see was that special charisma, fire in the belly, and common touch which Palin has. He is, at first sight imposing in a central casting way which, whilst initially a benefit is in the end a negative because what follows can't live up to what is expected by the exterior person. On the race42008 website Romney is all gray imagery-gray suit, gray hair and sadly a gray man-there is a spark missing.

This was brought home strikingly at his speech to the 2008 Republican convention which came across as flat and uninspiring at exactly the moment when a fired up speech in front of a fired up convention was required.Giuliani and Thompson both spoke well-who can recall the substance of their speeches-but the charisma lingers.

In 2012 I will vote conservative Republican straight down the ticket but if Romney heads it I will write in Palin. I would expect by that time Obama will be neutralized by a Republican majority in both houses, or at a minimum, such a small Democratic majority that it will be impossible to get a radical agenda through. I would rather take the chance of enduring another four years of what would be effectively be a restricted Clintonesque third term (after a hiatus of failed radicalism) than have four years of a non-conservative Republican.

We can wait another four years, by which time the Republican party will surely have learned the lesson about losing with candidates who are the favorite of the Dem's, liberal media and the Beltway Republican old guard, to get the candidate we and America need.

Palin/All Women Proven Not Fit For office

As if there was any doubt amongst liberal males regarding the fitness of Sarah palin and in fact any and all women to run for office it has been put to bed.

We have John Heilermann and Mark Halperin, with their new book "Game Change" about the 2008 election, to thank for ending this age old question. Not only is Palin untruthful, an ignoramus, divisive (amongst a myriad of other faults) but she is apparently mentally unstable.

The great news is that this mental instability is not linked to any particular psychosis or neuroses, rather it is the inherent situation of her being a female and thus "post partum depressed" and also, one would infer, pre-menopausal. Thankfully the Daily Kos liberal posters have warned everyone to more or less turn away from television when Palin appears when she is post-menopausal as the image (heaven help a woman who gets old) may be too distasteful.

This now makes voting easy, no one of the female gender is by fact of birth suitable for public, especially high, office. The occasional lowly female Assemblyman (we can now dispense with Assemblyperson) might not do too much harm, especially if there are lots of male colleagues to help out or a doctor always on hand "to observe her" as the book suggests was the case with Palin.

We can now deny any woman high office, removing the danger of the concomitant 3:00 a.m. call (might be menstruating) diplomacy (time of the month) and heaven forbid, the nuclear codes (might be having irrational mood swings, or worse, be in a " catatonic stupor" ).

We can see another of Bush's crazy decisions-as a conservative male-was appointing Condoleezza Rice as Secretary of State (not only a female but a dark skinned negro to boot-where was Harry Reid when needed ?). This in contrast to liberal Clinton's pick Madeleine Albright who, although limited by being a woman, was clearly post-menopausal and, possibly as a sop to Hillary, not beautiful-almost as good as a man.

The only danger for liberal men are the outspoken feminists, the radical leftist females, and the feminist organizations. They may strongly protest these misogynistic attacks on Palin as purveyed in the book, which of course given their past strident defence of her and other conservative women, is a strong possibility.

Now Palin is ridiculed by liberal elitists for believing in God

This is the story the liberal media have chosen to attack Palin with.

Sarah Palin believed that Sen. John McCain chose her to be his running mate in 2008 because of “God’s plan,” according to a top political strategist in the Arizona Republican’s campaign.

In an interview with the CBS news magazine “60 Minutes,” Steve Schmidt described Palin as “very calm — nonplussed” after McCain met with her at his Arizona ranch just before putting her on the Republican ticket. McCain had planned to name Sen. Joe Lieberman, I-Conn., as his vice presidential choice until word leaked, sparking what Schmidt called political blowback over picking the 2000 Democratic vice presidential nominee.

Schmidt said he asked Palin about her serenity in the face of becoming “one of the most famous people in the world.” He quoted her as saying, “It’s God’s plan.”.

When Obama sets out he is a Christian (he must be as of course he  attended Rev. Wright's church for so many years) well that is o.k. He, and any other Dem can be of any faith they like. But if Sarah Palin believes that her path in life, her Christian walk, is guided by Christ then that gets headline news and quoted in italics as if it is some weird example of how strange she is.

What are we to make of that, is America not overwhelmingly God respecting in the judeo-christian tradition?
Is "In God we trust" still on our coins? Why then is Palin singled out for believing what multitudes of millions do and especially at a time in her life which was a turning point which very few will even approach?

This is a question for the AP,The Guardian (sneeringly lib) The Huffington Post and Washington Post and of course MSNBC who all ran with this "story" should be asked to address.

Time for Palin To Go On Letterman ?

Letterman has ceased the "Things more fun than reading the Sarah Palin memoir" nightly series of  "disaster" clips. Some were funny in a gruesome way and some, as Palin herself said of the one in which a car drives into a tree were "just silly". On the plus side the photo of Palin they used to introduce the segment was very fetching.

The audience, I believe, took the segment light heartedly and it could be said that, given the over the top nature of the clips, they fell into the category of standard satire without a vicious edge. Certainly they were introduced in a straighforward, non-acerbic, manner and played for laughs.

Letterman has, after his first apology subsequent to his crude "joke" about Palin's daughter, which came across as non-sincere and seemed more audience directed rather than to Palin and her family, apologised a further two times.

The second apology, which seemed quite sincere, included a a full explanation of what he described as a mistake in identity (regarding which of Palin's daughters attended the baseball game in question) on his part, the third apology, included as an addition to his mea culpa for his affair with a staffer, with its straightforwardness in tone, tenor and brevity was, I believe, heartfelt. Since the start of the new year Letterman has not made any jokes or comments about Palin I am aware of-not that he is not completely entitled to do so if he wishes, no public figure is immune from satire which is of course the American way.

I believe Palin has everything to gain from going on his show, if indeed Letterman has undertaken a new and balanced approach to her. It would show a magnanimous (and Christian) spirit on her part, a willingness to forgive and forget and to move on in the light of a sincere apology. It would attract, certainly, one of the largest television audiences of all time if promoted properly on both sides. That it would boost Letterman's ratings, which was, rightly of course, last year a concern to Palin, would not matter in the spirit of reconcilliation.

Appearing on Letterman would be a further gain for Palin in that it would boost her book and through that assist in getting her message across. Letterman said, in respect of his feud with McCain "The road to the White House goes right through here" meaning of course appearing on his show. A bit of hyperbole certainly, but with a degree of truth in that it would be better for Palin to not be subjected to the sort of "satirical" onslaught that Mccain was after his no show on Letterman's programme when he suspended his campaign.

Certainly if Palin still does not wish to go on Letterman's show now or in the future her decision, as a mother, is one that could only garner respect. However, if Letterman's seeming change of attitude is genuine and continues, there is much to be gained by her appearance, not least for all American's if, in the long run, it assists in the promotion and eventual achievement of her deeply held wishes for our country.

Sarah Palin Needs A Black Knight Urgently

The biggest tribute to the extraordinary person that is Sarah Palin is that she is still standing after being the recipient of an endless stream of invective, contumelies, lies, slander, sexism, misogynism (that is a short list, there are many more such) which would have toppled lesser mortals.

At this point the campaign against her has narrowed somewhat to a number of main themes. She is dumb, a poor parent, a quitter. The previous main line of attack included her youngest son is really her grandchild, she was the reason McCain lost, she banned books, made rape victims pay for their rape kits. Happily these seem to have now been dropped in the main as, having been endlessly pushed to little effect, the left is thrashing about for more receptive themes.

The dumb, poor parent, quitter line of attack is struggling. Palin, through her book and interviews, and highly effectively through her Facebook postings, has taken the edge off that line.It is still being pushed with the rider that she "hasn't done one interview with anyone outside of Fox"-conveniently forgetting the Larry King , Oprah and Walters interviews which were wide ranging.

In a classic example, not only of political brilliance but of standing an argument on its head, with Palin's comment that we need a leader to deal with terrorism not a "Constitutional law professor" she made clear the difference between common sense and activism versus high education and ivory tower standoffism.

The parenting situation will continue to get some degree of promotion especially with the ongoing saga regarding her daughter Bristol's custody case (The Wasilla hillbillies meme). However there has been a switch in how the public views this with a current of sympathy and empathy running towards Sarah as a mother with family challenges-which so many can relate to.Her nearly son-in-law has not helped the situation for her enemies with his antics either.

"Quitter" which is almost inserted compulsorily in any attack statement has lost its impetus as it is hard to give it any value when describing someone who is not currently running for elective office-no doubt it will gain substantial momentum at some time in the future though.

All these lines of attack are clearly not working as can be seen by Palin's steady rise in the polls, the astonishing outpouring of emotion towards her during her book tour, the unprecedented success of her book and her effectively being co-equal with Hillary Clinton as the most admired woman in America.

The battle has just begun however and the big gun is slowly being raised from its pit,the canvass has been removed and the site trained. The first range finding salvos have been fired off in recent months, that they have not exploded theme wise yet is because the target wasn't broad enough-it is now.

Palin has  accepted a major speakers slot at the Southern Republicans Leadership Conference in April. In the stridently opposed blogs/tweets the comments include that her attendance shows she is part of a small, minority, sectional, rich and most importantly (for their argument) white party. Some come right out and say it "Palin is a racist".The "white party" theme is starting to filter in through mainstream media too.The MSM won't touch the racist part but "white" will do nicely as a not too subtle code word as the campaign intensifies in the future.

The reason why this has not been a major line of attack previously has been the major problem for the left that Palin is married to a part Native American and of course her children are of that descent. Now that the main anti-Palin themes have failed this one will clearly become a major threat. With Palin's high profile involvement with the southern wing of the G.O.P. her deprecators will consider that an oft repeated theme will gain traction (not that many know Todd Palin's heritage and a perceived anti-black mindset, no matter how much of a lie, trumps that).

There are numerous supporters of Palin from the black community of bloggers/commentators who recognise
Palin's values transcend race in her desire to work for the best quality of life for all. What is urgently needed is for one, hopefully with a high profile, leader from the black community, representing both conservatives and fair minded liberals, to stand up for Palin when the oncoming "racialist" storm comes.Someone needs to have a dedicated blog, which brings to light and destroys the "racialist" attacks and lies from the left .Who will be the "Black Knight" at this dangerous time for Palin? If one such stands up for Palin all posterity, all Americans of every descent will be in his or her debt as racism in politics is something we can't let happen from whatever quarter e.g. from  MSNBC's  " First Read " column's comment section  "I'm wondering if Sister Sarah has been fitted for her WhiteSheet yet?
