Fossil Krauthammer Should Join Outdated Rove On The Fox Scrapheap-Time To Move On

Nothing could more illustrate the changing of the guard on the right than the elite being exposed as-well the elite! Out of touch with the revved up base, arrogant, dictatorial sarcastic and petty.

And they humiliate themselves too boot.

First of it was the report that the NRSC wouldn't fund O'Donnell after she,with the help of Palin, DeMint and the Tea Party beat the establishments candidate Castle in Delaware for the senate position.

Then after massive anger from the grassroots  NRSC Chairman Sen. John Cornyn of Texas contacted O'Donnell Wednesday morning, telling her "we were committed to supporting her campaign." and arranged for the maximum $42k to be donated. (in the meantime the  grassroots raised one million dollars in one day

Then Karl Rove weighed in unasked and with no connection to the campaign to sound off on Fox, basically writing off her chances and questioning her mind. Again under the pressure of the base he too had to backtrack-much to the delight of the left in seeing a hated figure humiliated.

And now Krauthammer has jumped in. He has really been on a losing run apropos Palin and his ego, as the font of all wisdom elder statesman, must be taking a bruising. He belittled Palin and then had to watch her ascendancy, said her pick Miller in Alaska would not be heard of ever again after the primary, and then had to admit that Palin's proved her strength with Miller and then O'Donnell winning- Fox's Bret Baier has chided him on this on a number of occasions.

He petulantly called O'Donnell's victory a pyrrhic one and stated that Palin and DeMint are responsible for throwing away a sure win. He advises that, apparently, no matter what the circumstances or who is the candidate, the party should always put in the candidate who has the best chance of winning "That's what makes the eleventh-hour endorsements of O'Donnell by Sen Jim DeMint and Sarah Palin so reckless and irresponsible." he opined.

He then issued a petulant challenge "If DeMint and Palin want to show that helping O'Donnell over the top -- she won late and by six points -- wasn't a capricious spreading of fairy dust, perhaps they should go to Delaware now and get her elected to the Senate. You made it possible. Now make it happen."

It is Rove, the GOP hierarchy and Krauthammer who are helping to make the seat unwinnable for O'Donnell. If they are so worried about losing the seat perhaps it is they who should prove their loyalty and go to Delaware and campaign for her. A very wise comment on Hot Air shows Palin's wisdom in not doing so, if Rove and Krauthammer are the more acceptable face of the GOP as they assume they are-let them go in her place.

These people just don't get it-once again, this is the new paradigm;

Jim DeMint (R-S.C.), who endorsed Tea Party favorite Christine O'Donnell in Delaware's Republican Senate primary, said he's content with the GOP staying in the minority if the party doesn't stand for any principles.

DeMint's party argued before O'Donnell's victory that she could not win a general election in Delaware, and polls suggest Democrat candidate Chris Coons will defeat O'Donnell in November.
But DeMint, the leader of the Senate Conservatives Fund, said the GOP was on track to being a stronger party ideologically with her victory.
I  don’t want the majority back if we don’t believe anything," DeMint said on Fox News. "So I think if we want the numbers, if we want the majority, then we’re going to have to stand on some principles that the American people believe in.”

If Fossils like Krauthammer and voices from the past like Rove who guided the Republicans to loss after loss don't ant o get with what is happening amongst the grassroots then it is time for them to move on-Fox should assist them out the door.
